About Counties Kennels & Cattery

We are a whanau orientated, pet loving family. We have previous experience in boarding kennel operations and Doggy Day Care from our time in the Hawkes Bay.

We began a lifestyle change that we have called Haerenga Hou/ A New Journey. 

As the new owners of the former Critter Creek, we are continuing to upgrade our facilities and services under our new brand of Counties Kennels and Cattery (CKC). 

CKC is dedicated to a strong ethos of companionship, comradery, cooperation and integrity.  Our key values are the core of what we bring to the Franklin and Counties community.

Our human team are all qualified in Pet Care First Aid which is the compliance standard for New Zealand and covers all aspects of pet welfare and management. 

Maui Boi, Moomoo, Porky, Coco, C'mon, Nau mai and Haere mai.   Our pet team get along well with others and give our guest pets, plenty of space!
